Decided I needed to get out in the garden today for some fresh air. Was great to spend a few hours out there listening to the birds, breathing the crisp air and turning a blind eye to many of the overgrown weeds. lol
What I DID notice, however, was how pathetic some of my potted vegetables and fruit were developing. The strawberry plant bears no strawberries, the lettuce is barely enough for a sandwhich and the snow peas.... aherm, yes, the monstrosity to the left is in fact meant to be snow peas. 
Did manage to get ONE pea from the scrub before uprooting it all and planting something slightly more spectacular. 
They should give me a couple of weeks worth of bragging. lol

I also went in search of a camelia plant to fill a gap in my large raised garden bed. Never leave me unattended in a garden centre or I will come away with 10 times the items I set out to purchase. See below.
