Holiday snaps...

Here are a collection of photos from my recent holiday down the NSW coast. Was great to get my camera out again and capture some images of things one might usually take for granted...

As a creative person, I like to view the world differently... everything is a photo opportunity if you see it creatively. Its true what they say...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

The following photos are of a bush at the front of the place we were staying at. I didnt even really notice it until I was packing the car to leave... and then thought... WOW... what a beautiful plant...

Other images from our garden include percy our friendly grasshopper! (E.T. phone home! lol)My poor husband had to be very patient cause as we went four-wheel driving around the countryside, I would ask him to stop every 10 minutess cause I saw something I wanted to photograph... for example...

We then set out on a bush walk... and my husband wandered ahead... cause I was mesmerised by things along the way... what most people probably wouldnt even notice... intrigued me...

Some of the Aussie mountains for my overseas friends...

We also stopped at Stanwell Park on the way home and was great to watch people handgliding from the mountain peak I was standing on right down to the beach below. An amazing view and an adventure that I would one day like to participate in... if ever I can overcome my fear of heights!

I dont know why I never notice it at the time, but my husband has a thing where he always manages to sneak "the finger" into any photo I take of him... he knows I will notice it later and even though I may be annoyed, usually I laugh. lol

Hows this for a rental car? lol NO, we didnt rent it!

Here are some photos of the amazing views and sunsets from our balcony... was awesome!

And here is the view from my spa! lol

The beach... where I walked and swam... and dreamt of the future...

Yes God, is that you? What....? Its time to go home now? Damn! lol

The moral to this story is... never take an aspiring photographer away on holiday with you (unless of course, you too are an aspiring photographer) lest you be delayed by the snapping of images at every port.... Cause believe me... EVERYTHING is a photo opportunity if you just let yourself see it through different eyes....

the end...
