I was hanging out the washing (as you do) when I was distracted by my garden. Then grabbed my camera, lay on the grass and took these photos. It never ceases to amaze me how ordinary things can look so spectacular up close.

Silly Questions and Answers...

Do you have any relatives in jail? None that have admitted to it.
Have you ever gone cow-tipping? No... just cow whispering Mooooooooooo lol
What's your worst pet peeve? Although there are probably 1001 worse things, people who drive too slow in the fast lane come to mind.
Whats your favorite horror movie? Not a big fan of horror movies, but do love watching "Jaws" and then all the while complaining that Im too scared to swim in deep water! lol.
Do you do dance crazy when no one is looking? That assumes I dance normally when people ARE looking?
Do you like to sing in the shower? Yes, the world in my stage.
Whats your favorite colour? Currently Aqua
Do you like baths or showers? Mostly have showers, but that makes candle-lit bubble baths all the more special when I get around to them.
Do you blow dry your hair? or just let it dry on its own, or towel dry? Rarely blow dry, just towel dry and wait a couple of hours for it to dry naturally.
At the beach would you rather play in the sand, or play in the water? The water.... Im not a baby. lol
Do you think people should eat the fish they catch, or just let them go? People can do what they want, but even though I like fishing, I refuse to kill the fish once Ive caught it. I have to hand it over and pretend I dont know what happens next. lol
What do you like better hands or feet? They are both quite useful. lol
Do you like cruly hair or straight hair? My hair is straight and Im pretty happy with that, cause hand me a curling wand and I have curls to go.
Whats your favorite kind of drink? Coffee, Baileys... and followed closely by Lambrusco mixed with lemonade! lol

Serious questions...

Do you have any regrets in life? Noone lives a perfect life, but regrets bind you to the past, so I try and live without regrets.

What do you think about capital punishment? Im not in favour of Capital Punishment, however I believe there still needs to be severe consequences for actions as a preventative measure.

Is revenge sometimes justified? I can certainly understand why people would want to seek revenge, however it's not something I've ever sought.

Which is a stronger emotion: anger or love? Anger is a powerful emotion, however true love should be all encompassing and completely overwhelming.

Why does religion cause so much war? I believe in a God of abundant love, but man-made religion is often focused on man-made agendas and self-fulfillment. If Christians followed the number one commandment, to"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind... and love your neighbour as yourself"... then the world would be a better place...

Why is your definition of true happiness different from anyone else's definition of true happiness? Not sure that it is different. True happiness in part is about contentment, but I would say I know I am truly happy if I wake up and go to bed smiling :)

If you had to move to a country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move? Italy or Canada :)

Would you give your life to save someone else's? Yes. I dont fear death or the afterlife.

What is your happiest memory. I have some wonderful memories of playing house with my sister and friends as a young child in the school holidays. I also think we used to pretend we were the village people! lol

If you were president, what would you do. Perhaps Im an idealist, but my approach would be one of reconciliation. There are too many men in politics hell bent on asserting their power and influence in an attempt for world domination.

Movies

Have listed a number of movies I like below. Of course there are many more, but these came to mind when having to search from a list. You may notice themes... I like comedy, and often romantic comedies. I dont mind some sci fi cause I like imagining futuristic stuff and I also like some action movies. I seem to have a thing for Batman lol and also some Arnie movies, but upon reflection I dont tend to watch many dramatic movies, probably cause my work is often stressful and movies are escapism and to relax. Given that most people who read this blog are guys, am sure my list would not match too many other peoples... lol... But thats me :)

The month that was...

Gee I have been slack with keeping this up to date recently... So whats been happening? hmmm? Well, as many of you know I have been very stressed lately... lots going on with work and home... Am pleased to report that I got the promotion! woo hoo.... is exciting... but at the same time is just the beginning of an uphill slog in restructuring more management positions. I think this is going to be a stressful year for me overall. Perhaps I need to take up yoga again... lol

Also spent the day with my dad yesterday... now I love him, BUT... being with him is a real effort, cause he is a classic narcissist who only knows the world from HIS perspective, and doesnt really talk about much else except his life and loves.
