Celebrating Women

Its International Women's Day today. Celebrated around the world its about promoting awareness of women's issues, particularly in relation to inequality. On Friday, my colleagues and I attended a breakfast launch. I also arranged a special morning tea at work and got everyone to bring in food to share. There were about 50 of us (men and women) and I gave a quick talk about the theme for this year "Violence against women", citing statistics and issues of note. We also fundraised for Unifem through selling ribbons. Its a great cause. Chicks unite! lol

Mass Stranding...

What a strange natural wonder that hundreds of wales would decide to swim ashore to die on the beach of Tasmania (southern part of Australia). They seem to do it every season... and every season rescuers try desperately to save them. Its so sad...

Cows...

Here's another video I shot while on holiday... funny how when I first got out of the car to take a photo all the calves were sitting peacefully.... then one by one they started peeing together! lol
